It has been a hectic few weeks to say the least. New York Fashion Week was crazy but successful! I am excited for the season change. I have already switched my summer wardrobe out of my closet and I am making way for some new fall inspo!
I am thrilled to introduce a series on styling unusual color combos using my Energy Styling ™ method because I find mixing unexpected colors not only visually appealing but it adds an element of dimension. I personally find them to be confidence and mood boosting.
Don’t worry, a separate post on Energy Styling ™ will soon be posted and I’ll get more into that then!
I have been obsessed with the color combination of lilac and emerald green together. This funny thing happens when I start to love a color combination, I start to see it everywhere. Today I saw it on my walk to work outside a brownstone; the front door entrance was lined in an emerald green and hanging in the window on the left was a bunch of lilacs.
Green represents our heart chakra and violet (closest to lilac) represents our crown chakra. When I find myself being attracted to these colors I like to reflect on what they mean spiritually for me. An unexpected reminder of love and intuition and ways to be more in tune with myself especially in the hustle and bustle of work and the city. This color combo is more than just a pretty face!
